Admission - Next Start of the Program is planned to start in March 2025
Eligible for the MAS are applicants with the following backgrounds:
- medical degree with or without specialization
- psychologists and neuropsychologists
- candidates with a bachelor degree in a biology and/or health related disciplines
- candidates with a master degree in natural science or engineering
The Program Direction may grant exceptions “sur dossier” .
Applications from candidates without the above-mentioned requirements may be considered, but they must have an adequate scientific background. The Program Direction will assess the content and quality of the candidates' academic record to decide if it fits the requirements for admission and to make sure that the program will be completed successfully.
It is possible to participate to single modules if there are still places available.
Application Deadline
The application deadline for the MAS in Sleep Medicine starting in March 2025 is 31st January 2025.

Withdrawal
In case of cancellation after the admission deadline, the full tuition fee must be paid. In case a replacement can be found for the cancelled study-place, only a handling fee of CHF 200.- will be charged.
Graduation
The medical faculties of the University of Bern and the Università della Svizzera italiana award the following degrees with corresponding titles:
Master of Advanced Studies in Sleep Medicine, University of Bern, Università della Svizzera italiana (MAS SM Unibe USI)
To obtain the degree, all the examinations have to be passed and the required minimum attendance of 80% has to be met.
